ArrowCreek Art Guild Meeting Location Rescheduled For Monday, June 01, 2015
Susan Christopher has offered to host the June 1 meeting at 6:30 pm. Susan’s address is 10395 Tewa Ct. (From the gate, turn left on ArrowCreek Pkwy West and first right on Tewa Court.)
Bring your painted golf balls if you have finished. There are more golf balls if anyone wants them.😜
If you get a chance before the meeting, go by The Club at ArrowCreek and pick a 1st and 2nd choice in the main dining room, the Terrace Room and the amount of space you will need to display your work. Nancy McCraley will be in the foyer because she is running the Raffle display and ticket sales, the musicians will be in the foyer and I think Sharon Di Simoni has the same space as last year. We will have a floor plan at the meeting to assign space.

Next ArrowCreek Art Guild Meeting Scheduled For Feb 3, 2015

Emma and Connie have been working on the 2015 calendar. Emma is doing all the ground work and going through the proper channels to get ArrowCreek Art Guild on the 2015 roster for Open Studios and Artown.
The Club at ArrowCreek is very enthusiastic to host the site for our Artown date. There are a lot of ideas about wine tasting with the Art Show and possibly a putting contest with hand painted golf balls and decorated tee flags. The Club is offering a prize package for our charity’s drawing.
We are trying to get ArrowCreek Art Guild “linked” into Artown with the Golf Club’s help.
Of course we need everyone’s input! Emma has offered to host our first 2015 meeting on Tuesday, Feb 3rd at 7:00 pm at her home, 2710 Wind Feather Trail.

Connie has heard so much positive feedback about our October Show. Lots of people are looking forward to another Event.

Minutes from 2/3/15 ArrowCreek Art Guild Meeting
We now have 21 artist members and 4 great events in the planning stages for 2015.
We are applying to Art Town to have an event called Art on the Green at the Club at Arrowcreek. We are on the books and scheduled for Sunday, July 12 from 11-7. We will have the foyer, Terrace room, (the big dining room) and patio. Beside exhibiting our art, we are planning an all day Happy Hour for wine and small plates for purchase from the club; artfully decorated golf balls for putting contest every hour for 15 minutes, a raffle with donated art and the Club will donate a golf and dinner package, and music. The funds from the raffle will go to Art Town.
Emma has gotten approval from the ACHOA for Reno Open Studios, Oct. 2, 3. & 4th. Sue Liebman, Sharon DeSimoni, and Emma McKay have space available to show your art at their homes if you do not want to open your studio. Emma is checking, but only 3 artist may show at one location. If you are interested in opening your studio or sharing space please let Emma know.
The end of September is Candy Dance in Genoa. Artist member and managing partner of Genoa Lakes and Resort Golf, Marla Gartrell, has offered the Genoa Golf Club as a possible venue for an Art Guild Show during Candy Dance.
And our Art Guild 2nd Annual Art Show will be Sunday, November 8 from 11-5. Possible to be billed as The ArrowCreek Art Guild Holiday Art Event. the date is on the books at the Club at Arrowcreek.
Art Guild meetings will be almost every month, on a trial basis. Monday evenings at 6:30 – 8:30pmwill be a standing day. It was decided that these meeting should not only discuss our schedule but our art and to encourage and help one another. Artist have volunteered their homes for the following meetings:
