ACHOA Revised CC&Rs and Bylaws with Golf Changes Are Now Available for Review and Comment
From Associa website
Previously proposed draft updates to the HOA Bylaws and CCRs were sent to owners for review and input. Those updated documents have been further revised with language to include ACHOA ownership of golf property, should the ballot vote of the Members pass.
The initial updated version of the Bylaws and CCRs did NOT incorporate any changes for any golf property (non-residential property) purchase. They were updated to bring them current, regardless of who owns the golf property. The revised ‘golf’ version includes language should the HOA own golf property. The ‘redlined’ versions show the changes between the initial update and the update with ‘golf’. Please remember, to enact changes to the documents, a majority (50%+1) vote by the ACHOA membership will be required. At such time, a ballot will be mailed to all members.
A 30 day review period, through 12/13/15, has been allotted for homeowner comments.
The below draft revised documents and the original documents are posted on the Associa website on the GOVERNING DOCUMENTS Page.
No Changes to the Articles of Incorporation.
TO SUBMIT YOUR COMMENTS ON THE DRAFT REVISIONS, PLEASE EMAIL: ACHOAGOVDOCS@gmail.com
The above email address has been created specifically for feedback on these documents. This is the way that input from homeowners will be accepted.
There is a 30 day review period. Input will not be accepted after Sunday, December 13, 2015.
The Governing Documents Committee will review all input but will not respond to individual comments. Any material changes the committee agrees to make will be summarized and disseminated as appropriate. Thank you in advance for your time and continued interest in the ACHOA!
