The Great Reno Balloon Race Seeks the 2015 Official Poster Design! Your idea could be the winner! The deadline for submissions is April 30, 2015.

DESIGN CRITERIA:

Size of Poster:
If submitting an illustration, 16 in. x 24 in. For digital submissions, 16×24 @ 300 dpi. in .pdf format.

Design Concepts:
Only color designs will be accepted. Black & White submissions will not be accepted into the judging pool, but your efforts will be applauded.

The Great Reno Balloon Race (GRBR) manifests fun, family, community and uniqueness. Your design should incorporate some of these qualities and of course teardrop hot-air balloons. Please, no special shapes. Now, the rest is up to you! We don’t want to limit your ideas and creativity, so go wild.

Please submit no more than one design per artist. This is a call for a complete design, not just a concept. When submitting your file digitally, please title the file and save as: LastName_FirstName.pdf ex. Brown_Bob.pdf

SUBMISSION PROCESS:
Submissions can be mailed, hand-delivered or submitted online. GRBR will return designs to all non-selected artists. The Top Three and Honorable Mention will be notified by May 18. The winner will be revealed to the public at GRBR’s Media Preview on July 9. The selected piece will be the sole property of the GRBR to market and monetize the event.

May 19, 2015—Runners up and Honorable Mention are made public
July 9, 2015—Winner announcement and unveiling

Prizes will be awarded to the Top Three designers. They must come to the event to claim their prize.
